No Refunds After Access is Granted: Once access to The Vault has been provided for a billing cycle, payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Statutory Rights: Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any statutory rights or consumer guarantees that cannot be lawfully excluded under local laws in your jurisdiction.
Fraudulent Refunds: If a refund is granted in error or obtained through fraud, we reserve the right to recover the refunded amount and terminate account access.
8. Access to Digital Assets
Limited License: An active subscription grants you a single-user, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and download Digital Assets from The Vault solely for your personal use and for cutting physical gemstones as permitted under this Agreement, while your membership remains active.
Access Period: Access to digital library files, including download privileges, is provided only during an active paid billing period.
Termination of Access: Upon cancellation or non-payment, access to subscriber-only areas of The Vault, downloadable files, and member resources will cease at the end of your billing cycle.
9. License
The Lapidary Office grants active subscribers a specific, restricted license to use content from The Vault. Upon purchasing a subscription, you receive a license that is strictly:
Non-Exclusive: Other members may access and download the same content.
Non-Transferable: You may not sell, sub-license, assign, or transfer your access or downloaded Digital Assets to anyone else.
Revocable: We reserve the right to revoke access if the terms of this Agreement are violated.
Single-User: The license is granted strictly to you individually. Account credentials and downloaded Digital Assets may not be shared, pooled, or distributed across multiple users or teams.
Reservation of rights: No rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by The Lapidary Office.
10. Permitted Uses
Under your active subscription license, you are explicitly permitted to:
Cut Gemstones: Use design files, diagrams, and coordinates to physically cut gemstones for personal enjoyment, practice, or display.
Sell Physical Gemstones: You may cut and sell physical gemstones created using the designs, diagrams, or .gcs files from The Vault for commercial gain without paying royalties. The sale of physical gemstones cut using Vault designs does not grant purchasers any ownership or rights in the underlying digital files or diagrams; the purchaser receives ownership only of the physical gemstone itself and does not receive any ownership interest, copyright, license, or rights in the underlying design files, diagrams, coordinates, or other Digital Assets.
Print Diagrams: Print hard copies of diagrams, instructions, and reference guides strictly for your personal, in-shop, or bench use.
Modify Designs: Edit or adapt Gem Cut Studio files and design layouts for your own personal cutting projects. Modified versions of Vault files remain derivative works of The Lapidary Office and may not be distributed or sold.
11. Prohibited Uses
To protect the intellectual property of The Lapidary Office, strict limitations apply to all Digital Assets downloaded from The Vault. You are strictly prohibited from:
Redistribution & Resale: Selling, re-licensing, renting, leasing, sub-licensing, or giving away Digital Assets (.gcs), PDF diagrams, 3D renders, or written instructions.
Unauthorized File Sharing: Distributing or sharing downloaded .gcs files, PDF diagrams, or educational guides via file-sharing platforms, cloud services (including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), or torrent sites.
Social Media & Community Posting: Uploading raw files, PDF graphics, vector diagrams, or coordinate data to online communities, forums, or social platforms—including Discord servers, Facebook groups, or Reddit.
Commercial Libraries & Databases: Adding .gcs files or PDF diagrams from The Vault to public, private, or third-party digital libraries, repositories, or databases.
Teaching Without Permission: Using Vault PDF diagrams, .gcs files, or proprietary resources for commercial teaching, workshops, or educational courses without explicit prior written authorization from The Lapidary Office.
Monetizing Digital Assets: Selling, licensing, or otherwise commercially exploiting modified or unmodified Digital Assets or PDF documents themselves (only physical gemstones cut from the designs may be sold).
12. Account Sharing
One Person Only: Subscriptions to The Vault are strictly for individual, single-user access. Each membership is tied to a single user profile.
No Password Sharing: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Sharing your username, password, or direct access links with third parties is strictly prohibited.
No Shared Family Accounts: Vault memberships are individual-only accounts and may not be shared among family members, household members, or friends under a single subscription.
No Business or Team Use: Subscriptions do not grant multi-user or team-wide access licenses for corporate or commercial workshop settings. Every individual who accesses or downloads files from The Vault must maintain their own active subscription.
13. Download Monitoring & Security
To ensure platform security, prevent unauthorized distribution, and protect proprietary intellectual property, activity within The Vault is actively monitored. We may use automated systems to detect abuse.
Monitored Activity
Systems are configured to track and detect suspicious or unauthorized account activity, including but not limited to:
Abnormal Download Patterns: Unusually high download volumes, mass downloads, or rapid systematic downloading of Digital Assets.
Automated Tools & Bots: The use of scraping software, spiders, automated scripts, browser extensions, or bots to harvest content.
Simultaneous Logins: Concurrent account access across distinct IP addresses, devices, or geographic locations beyond typical personal usage.
Credential Sharing: Indicators that login credentials or direct access links are being used by multiple individuals.
Security Action & Review
If suspicious activity or violations of this policy are flagged:
Your account access may be automatically locked or temporarily suspended without prior notice.
The Lapidary Office will perform an automated and/or manual review of the account activity.
Accounts found to be in violation of this Agreement may face permanent termination without a refund or credit.
14. Anti-Scraping & Data Protection
To protect the core intellectual property of The Lapidary Office, automated extraction of content from The Vault is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Tools & Methods
You are strictly forbidden from using any automated or semi-automated tools, systems, or processes to access, interact with, or extract data from The Vault. This includes, but is not limited to:
Bots, Scripts, & Extensions: Any custom scripts, browser extensions, spiders, web crawlers, or automated bots.
AI Crawlers & Model Training: AI web crawlers, data-mining algorithms, or scrapers used to harvest designs, 3D renders, or diagrams for machine learning or AI model training.
Automated & Bulk Downloading: Using software to mass-download files, automate click streams, or perform bulk archiving of the library.
API Abuse: Attempting to query, exploit, or bypass backend application programming interfaces (APIs) or paywall structures. You may not use Digital Assets, in whole or in part, to create competing digital design libraries, AI-generated derivative libraries, or substantially similar commercial products.
Enforcement
Any attempt to scrape, mine, or systematically archive content will result in immediate and permanent account revocation, blocking access by IP address or other technical measures and potential legal action for breach of contract and intellectual property infringement.
15. Fair Use & Download Guidelines
Normal Personal Use: Active subscribers are encouraged to access and download files from The Vault as needed for their individual lapidary projects, learning, and personal or commercial cutting activities.
Fair Use Standard: The Vault is designed for genuine, human-driven use. To protect the service for all members, individual account activity must align with normal, individual user patterns.
Activity Review: Any account activity that reasonably appears to be automated, excessive, or otherwise inconsistent with standard personal usage—such as attempting to download the entire library in a short timeframe—may trigger an automatic security review, temporary download throttling, or account suspension pending investigation.
16. File Availability & Content Changes
Library Dynamics: The Lapidary Office reserves the right to manage and curate the content within The Vault at its sole discretion. At any time, designs, .gcs files, PDF diagrams, 3D renders, and accompanying media may be:
Added: New cuts, diagrams, and design concepts introduced.
Updated & Corrected: Revisions made to correct errors, optimize cutting angles, or improve diagram clarity.
Replaced or Removed: Legacy, outdated, or superseded files retired or swapped for updated versions.
No Permanence Guarantee: Subscription to The Vault grants access to the library as it exists at any given time. There is no guarantee that any specific file, design, or resource will remain permanently available for download indefinitely. Members are encouraged to download and back up files they actively need while their subscription is live.
17. Software Requirements & Subscriber Responsibility
Required Software: To fully utilize the Digital Assets provided in The Vault, members must have access to compatible software, including:
Gem Cut Studio: Required to open, view, edit, or interact with native .gcs design files.
PDF Reader: Compatible software or applications (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview, or modern web browsers) required to view and print .pdf diagrams and guides.
Subscriber Acknowledgment: Some subscribers may not possess Gem Cut Studio, a PDF reader, or compatible devices. By purchasing a subscription, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for obtaining the necessary software and hardware to access and use the files.
Limitation of Liability: The Lapidary Office does not own, develop, sell, or license third-party software, including Gem Cut Studio or PDF readers. We provide no technical support, installation assistance, or troubleshooting for third-party programs and shall not be held liable or responsible if a subscriber is unable to view or open Digital Assets due to missing, incompatible, or outdated software.
18. Educational & Cutting Disclaimer
No Guarantee of Results: Design files, diagrams, 3D renders, and instructions provided in The Vault are for educational, informational, and design reference purposes only. Final results in physical gemstone cutting may vary.
Variable Factors: Successful execution of any design depends on numerous external variables beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Proper calibration, alignment, and precision of your faceting machine and laps.
Individual experience, skill level, and cutting technique.
Physical characteristics of the rough material (e.g., refractive index, cleavage planes, strain, color zoning, and inclusions).
Assumption of Risk: You assume full responsibility for your cutting decisions, lap selection, angle adjustments, and material choices. The Lapidary Office is not liable for damaged rough material, ruined stones, broken equipment, or unsatisfactory cutting outcomes resulting from the use of Vault files or diagrams.
19. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Retention of Rights: All Digital Assets contained within The Vault—including but not limited to .gcs files, PDF diagrams, graphics, 3D renders, vector layouts, text, branding, and instructional content—are the exclusive intellectual property of The Lapidary Office and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
No Ownership Transfer: A subscription grants you a strictly limited license to access and use the content as outlined in this Agreement. Purchasing a membership does not transfer ownership, copyright, or title of any file, design, or material to you.
Reservation of Intellectual Property: All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement remain solely reserved by The Lapidary Office. Unlawful copying, reproduction, or distribution of Vault content constitutes copyright infringement and will be enforced to the fullest extent of the law.
20. Copyright Enforcement
Investigation of Infringement: The Lapidary Office actively monitors and investigates any suspected misuse, unauthorized sharing, piracy, or infringement of its intellectual property and copyright-protected Digital Assets.
Account Suspension: If an account is flagged or suspected of violating our intellectual property rights or licensing terms, we reserve the right to immediately suspend access while an investigation is conducted.
Account Termination: Proven or severe violations—including sharing files, uploading content to third-party platforms, or automated scraping—will result in immediate, permanent account termination without refund.
Legal Remedies: We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies under applicable state, federal, and international laws, including seeking statutory damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal fees against individuals or entities engaging in copyright infringement. We also reserve the right to issue copyright infringement notices, DMCA takedown notices, cease-and-desist demands, and other enforcement actions where appropriate.
21. Termination
Right to Terminate: The Lapidary Office reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your subscription and account access at any time, with or without prior notice, in the event of a violation of this Agreement.
Grounds for Termination: Account termination may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:
Fraud & Chargebacks: Fraudulent transactions, unauthorized payment usage, or initiating improper chargebacks.
Account Sharing: Permitting third parties to access your account credentials or sharing login details.
Copyright Infringement: Distributing, selling, uploading, or sharing proprietary .gcs files, PDF diagrams, or other Vault Digital Assets.
Scraping & Automation: Utilizing bots, scripts, crawlers, or automated tools to extract or bulk-download content.
Abuse & Harassment: Engaging in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward customer support, staff, or community members.
Illegal Activity: Any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized use of the service or its underlying intellectual property.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access The Vault, subscriber-only content, and future downloads immediately ceases, except as expressly provided in Section 24. No refunds or credits will be issued for remaining billing time.
22. Reinstatement
Discretionary Review: Following an account suspension or temporary lock due to security flags, suspected policy violations, or investigation, reinstatement is strictly at the sole discretion of The Lapidary Office.
No Guarantee of Reinstatement: Reviewing an account does not guarantee that access will be restored. If an account is found to be in clear violation of this Agreement—particularly regarding copyright infringement, file sharing, or automated scraping—the suspension will be made permanent.
23. Changes to the Subscription
Modification of Features: The Lapidary Office reserves the right to modify, update, or evolve the platform at its sole discretion. This includes the right to:
Add or Remove Features: Introduce new tools, library sections, and resources, or deprecate existing features as platform requirements change.

No ownership of the Digital Assets is transferred, and all license restrictions remain in effect after cancellation. Your access to The Vault, online portal, and future library additions will cease at the end of your current billing period. The limited license granted under this Agreement survives cancellation solely with respect to Digital Assets lawfully downloaded during an active subscription, subject to all continuing license restrictions contained herein.

New & Re-Downloads: Once your subscription has ended, you will no longer be able to download updated versions, newly released designs, or re-download previously acquired files. Members are solely responsible for saving and backing up all downloaded files locally prior to the end of their billing cycle.

License Restrictions & Commercial Rules
Intellectual Property Rights & Copyright
Refunds & Payment Obligations
Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
Indemnification
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
...shall explicitly survive termination and remain fully enforceable against you following the end of your subscription.
